Sharpen these skills for a directed future!

Young age is the time when a person reaches the peak of their life. At this age, the enthusiasm and energy needed to do something is very high. So that young age is the appropriate age to develop.

In developing yourself at a young age, of course, some abilities must be mastered. These abilities are called skills and they are divided into two types, namely soft skills and hard skills.

Kids exploring their skill

1. Soft skills are related to each person's ability to communicate and behave in interactions with others. Soft skills are more subjective and more difficult to assess or measure. Actually, soft skills themselves are more difficult to define. In general, this term is used to refer to a person's interpersonal skills or emotional intelligence.

2. Hard skills are a term used to refer to the skills that a person has so that they can do something to complete a certain job or responsibility. Hard skills can be obtained by someone in various ways. Examples of common methods to obtain hard skills include formal education or schooling, courses, training, and continuous repetition.

Then, what about examples of soft skills and hard skills?

Soft skills include communication skills, critical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, and public speaking. Meanwhile, hard skills can be in the form of abilities that can be obtained from the world of education and many teach it. Examples are product design, web development, data analysis, and mastering software for editing photos and videos.

Therefore, as someone who is at a young age, it is appropriate to learn to develop skills that can be useful for the future. Both soft skills and hard skills can be useful in the future.
